Who is Rev. Steven L. Davis, Sr.?

Rev. Steven L. Davis, Sr. is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He is  the father of seven children, the oldest 32-years-old and his youngest 3-years-old. Rev. is married to his lovely wife, Lady Margaret Ann Davis.

Rev. Davis attended Youngstown State University, and holds diplomas in Microcomputer Applications, Business Communications, Small Business Management, Religious Education and most recently he received his BA in Religion and a MA Human Service Counseling Addiction/Recovery from Liberty University. HE is employed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional He received full ordination from the United Christian Ministerial Association in 2009 where he was first licensed in May of 2006. He later, after accepting the call to the pastorate at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Lebanon, VA received his Baptist License/Ordination.

Rev. Steven L. Davis, Sr. is the founder and President of Brothers for Christ Community Response (BCCR), a ministry designed to assist those returning to society from incarceration, rehabilitation  or some other form of confinement and educating those in the community of the plight faced by our brothers returning to our community. Rev. Davis gives back to the community by working through BCCR.  He is also the Executive Director of The Gray House, a men’s sober living home located in Bristol, VA.

 Rev. Davis has served time in the department of correction in two states. With 39 plus years of lived experience, 16 plus years in recovery, home for over eleven years infraction free, Rev. Davis is now ready to use his lived experiences to assist those who find themselves in similar situations as he once found himself. Residing in the Bristol area for over eleven years Rev. Davis has proven himself to be an asset to the Christian community and the community as a whole, by following the Holy Word of God as his light and example. Rev. Davis is saved and has the call of God on his life for the service of Christian Ministry.

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself lest ye also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens and thus fulfill the law of Christ.”
